Seven more Corona positive patients were today treated and discharged from two Hospitals in Jammu further bringing down number of active patients in the region to 28.
Five COVID patients were treated and discharged from the Chest Diseases Hospital Jammu. They included three Tablighi Jamaat activities, two hailing from Uttar Pradesh and another from Mumbai, who were sent to a religious place in Sunjwan on the outskirts of Jammu City after being discharged from the hospital as they were staying there when tested positive for COVID-19.
A female dental doctor posted at CHC Tikri and a resident of Colonel Colony, Talab Tillo and a Tablighi contact from Ramnagar in Udhampur district have also been treated and discharged from the Chest Diseases Hospital, Medical Superintendent Dr Rajeshwar Sharma told the Excelsior.
Two other Corona patients were treated and discharged from dedicated COVID Hospital at Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. They included daughter-in-law and granddaughter of a woman hailing from village Tikri in Udhampur district, who was the first and lone Corona casualty in Jammu region.
Jammu has total 58 Corona cases and the number of patients treated and discharged from the hospitals has now gone up to 29 while there has been one death which left 28 active cases in the region.
